Project Manager

Reporting to the Capital Program Manager, the Project Manager will coordinate, implement and complete projects related to the refurbishment or replacement of the Corporation's utility assets safety and efficiently.

THE LOCATION:

Yukon is a perfect place for outdoor enthusiasts and for raising a family. Wilderness adventures start right on your doorstep with canoeing, hiking and fishing opportunities available nearby. Multiple daily flights out of Whitehorse will get you to Vancouver in two hours and Edmonton or Calgary in less than three hours on scheduled days.

YOU'RE THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IF YOU HAVE:

  • University degree in Engineering;
  • Health & Safety/Environmental certification;
  • Project Management Designation would be an asset;
  • 7+ years of working experience as a Project Manager on power related projects; with demonstrated knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) body of knowledge;
  • Experience with industry related scheduling systems including SmartSheet and demonstrated experience in procurement procedures;
  • Excellent leadership, planning and organization and problem solving skills.
