Who we are: Yukon Energy is the main generator and transmitter of electrical energy in the territory. Our plant facilities are on the Traditional Territory of Yukon First Nations. There are 14 First Nations in the territory, and we are proud to work within these Traditional Territories in all our business operations.


What will you do: Reporting to the Manager, Communications, you will provide support and expertise in the development and implementation of strategic communications, marketing, community engagement, and project and customer communications for Yukon Energy.
You will be responsible for carrying out various customer service responsibilities and developing content for social media and the corporation’s website to communicate to our employees, customers and Yukoners in a way that has meaning and matters. You will occasionally participate in community meetings during the evening.


What you need to succeed:

  • A degree or diploma in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. Experience and equivalencies may be considered.
  • 2 to 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications.
  • Experience working in a customer service role.

Compensation: Level 8: $42.25- $50.45 per hour plus Northern Allowances.
