What is a Peak Smart event?

During a Peak Smart event, we will send a signal to connected devices to make small changes to move electricity use away from periods of peak demand. With these subtle changes, we can shift peak demand, reduce diesel use, and lessen the strain on our electricity grid. The changes will be so subtle that they shouldn't disrupt your comfort.

Thermostats will be set to preheat two hours ahead of each event.
