Today's question: What are Yukon Energy's current plans for net metering and buying back electricity from individual producers?
Thank you for the question. The Yukon government has not yet finalized the net metering and Independent Power Producers' policies that it has been working on. We have not been told when these policies are expected to be put in place.
That being said, Yukon Energy is very open to buying renewable power from producers. We encourage anyone who has renewables for sale to please contact us.
