Based in Whitehorse, Paul Burbidge is the CEO and President of Challenger Geomatics, overseeing their professional services business, which consists of 150 employees across five offices. Paul is a Canada Lands Surveyor who has specialized is working with First Nations and performing extremely remote and challenging projects throughout his career. Challenger is a leader in working with First Nations for mutual benefit and has more than a dozen formal relationships, six of these are companies where the Indigenous partner is the majority owner. Outside of work Paul enjoys spending as much time in the bush as possible.
