Jonas brings a deep knowledge of the territory, its people and communities and has an extensive network of contacts throughout the Yukon and beyond from his experience in senior roles in government and many years of advocacy in federal and territorial politics.
He is well known in the Yukon’s mining industry from his career with the Yukon Chamber of Mines, Yukon Producers’ Group and the Klondike Placer Miners’ Association, and is the third generation in his family to call the Yukon home, where he is proudly raising the fourth generation with his wife at their home in Whitehorse.
