Planned Power Outages Scheduled for Dawson Area

Yukon Energy would like to notify customers in the Dawson City area of several planned power outages scheduled over the coming days to support ongoing system maintenance.

Thursday, May 14 – Rabbit Creek Road

A planned outage is scheduled for customers located on Rabbit Creek Road from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Thursday, May 14 – Callison Area

A second planned outage will affect customers in the Callison area from 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Affected customers are located along Callison Way and Washboard Way.

Update - Wednesday, May 20 – Front & Queen Area

A planned outage is scheduled on May 20 from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This outage will affect specific businesses located on Front Street and Queen Street.

Affected sites include:

Ravens Nook

Radio Station

Parks Canada

City of Dawson ( Washroom and Gazebo )

Update - Tuesday, May 19 – Duke Street Alley Area

A planned outage is also scheduled for May 19 from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Customers affected are located in the alley off Duke Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue.
