Yukon’s Wind Future

 Thank you to everyone who attended our wind energy workshop yesterday in Whitehorse. There was lots of great information and many good questions and comments. We will compile all your input and summarize it into a document that will be posted here and on our website. We will also post all the presentations. We hope to be able to do that within the next couple of weeks.

The picture above was taken during the evening public session, but we also held a day session for interested stakeholders. After presentations from six energy experts, people had an opportunity to spend time at various stations providing comments and suggestions related to incorporating wind energy into our portfolio.
