Yukon Energy’s Board of Directors has selected a new president and Chief Executive Officer for the Corporation. He is Andrew Hall, most recently from Vancouver. He replaces outgoing President/CEO David Morrison, who is retiring at the end of this year.

Mr. Hall will take over the position in early September, allowing for a period of overlap before Mr. Morrison leaves.

Mr. Hall is a strong business leader in the area of renewable energy and water treatment. Most recently he has been a Vice President at BioteQ Environmental Technologies Inc. in Vancouver. Before that he was a Vice President with Xebec Adsorption Inc. in Shanghai, China, where he successfully introduced biogas solutions to the renewable energy market in China and Korea.

The Board welcomes Mr. Hall and his family to Yukon and looks forward to working with him on the many challenges and opportunities facing the Corporation in the coming months and years.

The Board wishes to thank Mr. Morrison for his 10 years of service. Yukon Energy has been very fortunate to have had someone of Mr. Morrison’s caliber and skill at the helm. We wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement.
