9:00 p.m. update: Crews have found a tree on the power line near Little Salmon Lake Campground. Please avoid the area. Assume all low hanging and downed power lines are still energized and stay at least 10 meters (or 33 feet back). Yukon Energy crews are responding.
8:30 p.m. update: Yukon Energy crews from Whitehorse are responding to a power outage in Drury Creek. Suspected cause is a fault on the transmission line between Carmacks and Faro. Whitehorse crews are bringing a portable generator to Drury Creek in case extensive repairs on the transmission line are needed. The generator should be connected in the next 3 to 4 hours. Power in Faro right now is begin generated at the local diesel plant.
