Residents in Mayo may have noticed changes in the Mayo River. Yukon Energy will be working on the Wareham Dam until mid-November, which means water flow will be reduced. We’ll maintain minimum water flows downstream as required by our water licence to reduce impacts on wildlife and the environment. If everything goes as planned, river flows should return to normal by mid-November. You might also see more crew members around the dam during this time.
