Michael has spent the last 25+ years supporting responsible environmental decision-making and governance in Canada's western Arctic.
He has worked for governments, Indigenous co-management groups, communities and development proponents. Michael led the technical implementation of the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act and has helped build several organizations in the Northwest Territories and Yukon. He is passionate about understanding the many ways we interact with the diverse environments we live in. In spite of a couple of degrees and professional designations, his daughters call him fake biologist.
