Charlotte Mitha is the Executive Vice President of Operations at BC Hydro. Charlotte is accountable for approximately 2,700 employees and $300M in annual operating and maintenance expenditures and $600M of capital projects. Charlotte is a mechanical engineer with 30 years of experience in the energy sector and over 20 years of experience with BC Hydro. As VP of Operations, she is responsible for the field crews, control centres and water management for the provincial grid, including over 30 generating stations and 300 substations. She is also responsible for provincial distribution design and customer connections as well as Independent Power Producer contracts.
Charlotte is a Professional Engineer in mechanical engineering (Bachelor of Applied Science, UBC, 1992) and has a Master of Business Administration from Royal Holloway College, University of London (2005).
