The Whitehorse Rapids fish camera operates during the summer months until early September. It is turned off now until June 2018. When operating, it provides a rare opportunity to see a variety of species of Yukon fish, including arctic grayling, whitefish, lake trout, longnose sucker, and - in late July and throughout August - Chinook salmon.
1,227 Chinook salmon travelled through our ladder in 2017, compared with more than 1,550 last year.
