July 14-18 - Faro

Yukon Energy is upgrading its transformers in Faro to reduce power outages in the community caused by wildlife (ex. birds).

Customers in Faro can expect to experience a 45 minute to one-hour power outage between July 14 and 18, 2025. The outages will generally take place between 8am and 4pm. Yukon Energy crews will notify affected customers via door-knocking before the outage occurs.
