Who we are: Yukon Energy is the primary generator and transmitter of electrical energy in the Yukon territory, operating within the Traditional Territories of Yukon First Nations. What will you do: Reporting to the Manager, Resource Planning, you will:
- Shape the future of energy in the Yukon through analysis of electricity needs and conducting short- and long-term load forecasting.
- Develop generation resource plans and implement strategies that balance supply and demand, improve reliability, and guide capital investments.
- Collaborate across the organization and with Yukon First Nations to build a more sustainable and inclusive energy system.
What you need to succeed:
- Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with a specialization in engineering, economics, accounting, statistics, mathematics, business administration, or other related discipline.
- Problem-solving mindset with proven ability to make good and timely decisions.
- Experience researching, analyzing, and synthesizing information and effectively communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Experience working with stakeholders to achieve results.
- Growth mindset with a keen interest in electricity resource planning.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefit package.
