Yukon Energy is the main generator and transmitter of electrical energy in the territory. We are a renewable company with more than 90 per cent of our electricity coming from hydro. We were the first northern utility and only the fifth in Canada to receive a Sustainable Electricity CompanyTM designation from the Canadian Electricity Association. We operate on the Traditional Territories of Yukon's 14 First Nations.
Our liquefied natural gas (LNG) Plant Operators work as part of the Mechanical Maintenance team and are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the LNG offloading process, all the respective auxiliary equipment and may be required to provide maintenance of process equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
This position works in proximity to liquefied natural gas with exposure to cryogenic equipment and liquids in the plant environment. You may also be exposed to inclement weather while working outside.
