Yukon Energy's scholarships are a significant investment in our communities and symbolize our ongoing belief in the potential of the young people in the territory. Teighan Quaile – 4th Year Premier Multi-Year Scholarship – Sustainable and Renewable Energy
Simon Lauer – 2nd Year Premier Multi-Year Scholarship – Computer Science
Hunter Long – 1st Year Premier Scholarship – Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Kyran Allen – Ed Chambers Memorial Trades Scholarship – 1st Year Powerline Technician Apprenticeship
These scholarships are for post-secondary students studying mechanical, electrical, environmental, or civil engineering, or business, economics and computer technology.
This scholarship is in memory of Ed Chambers. Mr. Chambers served on Yukon Energy's Board of Directors from February 1991 to May 2004 and was a tremendous asset to this Corporation. This scholarship is for students entering pre-apprenticeship or entry-level programs in the areas of electrician, power line technician, electronics technician, heavy duty mechanic, industrial instrument mechanic, industrial mechanics (millwright) or machinist.
