Energy Conservation, Energy Supply

Question: When are the peak hours of energy use? I'd like to know because I want to do my laundry during off-peak times.

I appreciate your question, and the fact that you are conscious of the fact that there are different energy requirements depending on the time of day. Typically, breakfast and dinner hours are the times that we see the most demand for electricity. If you are looking to run your clothes washer and dryer, dish washer, or other appliances during off-peak hours, then I suggest considering mid-morning, mid-afternoon, later in the evening, or overnight. Some appliances have timers built in so you can program them to start at a certain time.
