Yukon Energy and Employees Reach Tentative Deal

Yukon Energy and the Public Service Alliance of Canada have reached a tentative contract agreement. While no details will be released until after a ratification vote, both sides are recommending approval of the deal. The ratification vote takes place the week of Dec. 6th.

There are about 48 unionized workers at Yukon Energy.

Last month, a conciliator was called in to help reach a settlement. The current three-year contract expires on Dec. 31, 2004.
