Another Forest Fire Near One of Our Lines

 This afternoon we were asked by Wildfire Management to de-energize our transmission line between Minto Landing and Stewart Crossing.

There is a forest fire burning at Kilometre 516 on the Klondike Highway approximately 20 kilometres south of Stewart.

Pelly Crossing has been placed on back-up diesel and will remain on diesel until we get the go-ahead to re-energize our line. At this point we don't know when that will be.
